libjstl1.1-java software package provides JSP Standard Tag Library API v1.1 Reference Implementation, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjstl1.1-java
libjstl1.1-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjstl1.1-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjstl1.1-java *
You will get with libjstl1.1-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
